Cupertino epoxy floor coatings
Yes, we pour floors in Cupertino
Most people know Cupertino for Apple Park, the ring shaped campus off Wolfe Road. Around it are quiet streets of homes built from the 1950s on, De Anza College at the west end of Stevens Creek Boulevard, and Memorial Park near the middle of town. It is a quick trip west on 280 from our base in San Jose.
Garages here do a lot of jobs. Home gym, office overflow, bike storage and a place to charge the car. A floor built for that needs a hard surface that wipes clean with a mop and takes a dropped weight. Our flake epoxy floors are the usual pick, and they start the same way every time: grind first.
What a Cupertino garage floor puts up with
Weight and wear. Squat racks, dumbbells, tool chests and bike stands all press into the floor or drop onto it. Bare concrete chips and dusts under that, and a thin paint kit scuffs through in months. A floor built into the slab with a hard topcoat takes the knocks and keeps its finish.
Then there is age. Many tract garages here are decades old, with a surface that powders and stains that run deep. Newer homes have smooth, trowel finished slabs that paint will not grip. Both get a full diamond grind before anything goes down, because a coating can only hold onto open concrete.
What we handle here
Floors we pour in Cupertino
Flake and Solid Garage Floors
The job Cupertino asks for most: a gray slab that has been catching oil, dust and tire marks for years. We grind it back to open concrete, fill the cracks, roll the base coat and seal it under a polyaspartic topcoat. Here is how we build garage floors in Cupertino.
Hand Poured Metallic Floors
The floor Josh is known for. Reflective pigment moved by hand through wet resin, so the floor has veins and movement and never repeats. Entries, studios, showrooms and show garages in Cupertino. See the metallic floors we pour in Cupertino.
Rooms Inside the House
Studios, gyms, laundry rooms, mud rooms and converted garages on a slab. The old floor comes up, the slab gets ground, and a sealed coating goes down that you can live on. Same build we use on home floor coatings in Cupertino.
Shop, Studio and Warehouse Floors
Cupertino businesses run on floors that take carts, boots and spills all day. A coated floor stands up to that and cuts the cleaning down to a mop, and we work around your opening hours. Have a look at our commercial floors in Cupertino.
Why Cupertino calls us
Why Cupertino homeowners call Josh
The grind is the step many companies skip. We run a diamond grinder over the whole slab, edges and corners included, until the concrete is open and fresh. Cracks and pinholes get filled at that stage. A coating that bonds into open concrete is the main reason a floor lasts.
On top goes a polyaspartic topcoat. It stands up to hot tires, dropped weights and spilled chemicals, and it does not yellow in the sun the way cheap epoxy does. Josh brings samples to the estimate so you can feel the difference before you decide.
Where you will find us around Cupertino
Apple Park sits on the east side of town between Wolfe Road and Tantau Avenue, with Main Street Cupertino just south of 280. Stevens Creek Boulevard runs across the city to De Anza College, and the shops and offices along it and De Anza Boulevard are where the commercial floors are. Monta Vista sits on the west side under the foothills, and Rancho Rinconada sits on the east edge near Lawrence Expressway.
Monta Vista and Rancho Rinconada carry older slabs with plenty of history in them. The newer homes across town have flatter, smoother concrete. Different surfaces, same diamond grind.

Straight answers about your epoxy floor questions
Do you work in Cupertino?
Yes. Cupertino is a quick trip west on 280 from our San Jose base. Send the form and Josh will set a time to look at the slab.
Will a coated floor hold up in a Cupertino home gym?
Yes, with the right build. The slab is ground open, the coating bonds into it, and a hard polyaspartic topcoat takes dropped weights and heavy racks far better than bare concrete or paint.
Will the floor be slippery when it is wet?
It does not have to be. Flake floors have texture built in, and grip can be added to the topcoat on any floor. Tell us where the floor gets wet and we will build it for that.
Why grind the floor? Can you not just clean it?
Cleaning only takes off what sits on top. Oil, old sealer and a smooth trowel finish stay in the surface, and a coating will not hold onto them. Grinding takes the top layer off so the coating bonds to fresh concrete.
Do you fix cracked or sunken concrete in Cupertino?
No. We fill small cracks during prep and coat sound concrete. A slab that is sinking or breaking up needs structural work first, and we will say so before any work starts.
How long is my Cupertino garage out of use?
Usually one to three days, depending on the finish. A flake floor is often one to two days, a metallic pour two to three. You get the dates in writing before work starts.
